You can drive from Oslo to Flam in 5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of flight and bus; or take a train. Traveling from Oslo in July, you will find days in Flam are slightly colder (20°C), and nights are about the same (11°C). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sun) so you can go by car to Bergen.

A city famed for its underground music scene, Bergen also serves as the gateway to the fjords of Norway's western coastline.
