Appreciate the collections at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and New York Public Library. Visit The Met Cloisters and Independence National Historical Park for their historical value. When in New York City, make a side trip to see Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, approximately Hyde Park away. Next up on the itinerary: stroll through Central Park, take a stroll through Greenwich Village, visit Dumbo, and take in the pleasant sights at Times Square.

Start off your visit on the 26th (Tue): get engrossed in the history at National Museum of African American History and Culture, then examine the collection at National Air and Space Museum, and then get to know the fascinating history of The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
