Located just 80 km (50 mi) north of San Francisco, Napa sits at the southern end of the scenic Napa Valley, one of the world's major wine regions.
For shopping fun, head to Oxbow Public Market or Mumm Napa. Step out of the city life by going to Balloon Rides and Old Faithful Geyser of California. Explore Napa's surroundings by going to St. Helena (Beringer Vineyards & Pride Mountain Vineyards) and Calistoga (Castello di Amorosa & Schramsberg Vineyards). Dedicate the 7th (Thu) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. The adventure continues: admire the masterpieces at The Hess Collection Winery & Art Museum, do a tasting at Domaine Carneros, and look for gifts at Oakville Grocery.

Boston to Napa is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Boston to Napa. While traveling from Boston, expect somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Napa, ranging from highs of 70°F to lows of 44°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Sun) so you can travel to Pebble Beach.

Pebble Beach is an unincorporated community on the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey County, California. Step out of the city life by going to Pfeiffer State Beach and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Pebble Beach: Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park (in Felton), Byington Vineyard and Winery (in Los Gatos) and Big Sur (Coast Gallery Big Sur, McWay Falls, &more).
