The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.
Step off the beaten path and head to Windows and Fiery Furnace. Escape the urban bustle at Double Arch and Balanced Rock Trail. Take a break from Moab with a short trip to Pothole Arch in Arches National Park, about 34 minutes away. There's lots more to do: explore the landscape on two wheels at Slickrock Bike Trail, hike along Grandstaff Canyon Trail, take a memorable drive along La Sal Mountain Loop, and take in the dramatic natural features at Turret Arch.

Park City

— 3 nights
Known globally as the home of the country's largest independent film festival, Park City finds its roots as an old silver boomtown located on the slopes of the Wasatch Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains.
Step off the beaten path and head to The Tabernacle and Rocky Mountain Outfitters. Salt Lake Temple and Cathedral of the Madeleine will appeal to history buffs. Venture out of the city with trips to Thanksgiving Point (in Lehi) and Salt Lake City (Church History Museum & Assembly Hall). There's still lots to do: fly down the slopes at Canyons Village at Park City, contemplate the long history of Memorial Hill, and take in the exciting artwork at Fatali Gallery.
