Kick off your visit on the 11th (Fri): take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, then contemplate the long history of St. George's Basilica, then take in the dramatic natural features at Blue Hole, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Dwejra Bay. On the 12th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Ta' Pinu National Shrine, head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. John The Baptist, then make a trip to Ggantija Megalithic Temples, and finally do a tasting at Tal-Massar Winery.

Osijek, Croatia to Xaghra is an approximately 25.5-hour car ride. Traveling from Osijek in June, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Xaghra, with lows around 22°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) so you can travel to Valletta.

Malta's capital city, Valletta preserves most of its medieval architecture, built in the 16th and 17th centuries by the Knights Hospitaller, once a powerful military order.
Visiting Ghajn Tuffieha Bay and Scuba & Snorkeling will get you outdoors. You'll explore and learn at Lascaris War Rooms and Carmelite Priory Mdina. There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Shrine of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, examine the collection at Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum, appreciate the extensive heritage of Mdina Old City, and steep yourself in history at War HQ Tunnel.

Getting from Xaghra to Valletta by ferry takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a bus. In June, daytime highs in Valletta are 33°C, while nighttime lows are 22°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
