Dover is a town and major ferry port in the home county of Kent, in South East England. Change things up with a short trip to Leeds Castle in Maidstone (about 44 minutes away). There's still lots to do: step into the grandiose world of Dover Castle, steep yourself in history at Roman Painted House, make a trip to Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, and take a leisurely stroll along Folkestone Harbour Arm.
