Known for its wide range of restaurants and traditional pubs, Kenmare sitsĀ along two major Irish tourist routes, the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara.
Get out of town with these interesting Kenmare side-trips: Garinish Island (in Glengarriff), Bantry House & Garden (in Bantry) and Drombeg Stone Circle (in Skibbereen). Spend the 23rd (Mon) exploring the striking scenery along Slea Head Drive. Spend a day of island exploring on the 25th (Wed) at Skellig Michael. The adventure continues: get to know the fascinating history of Molly Gallivan's Cottage & Traditional Farm, steep yourself in history at Cromwell's Bridge, enjoy the sand and surf at Derrynane Beach, and walk around Gleninchaquin Park.

For more things to do, maps, ratings, and other tourist information, you can read our Kenmare trip maker .

Expect a daytime high around 20°C in September, and nighttime lows around 13°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
