Start off your visit on the 4th (Sat): browse the different shops at Khan Shatyr, thenappreciate the history behind Bayterek Tower, thenbrush up on your military savvy at National Museum of Kazakhstan, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hazret Sultan Mosque. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 5th (Sun): appreciate the history behind Monument to the Soldiers of World War II, pause for some photo ops at Zhanibek and Kerei Monument, stroll around City Park, thentake in the architecture and atmosphere at Nur-Astana Mosque, thencontemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temple of St. Seraphim of Sarov, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Assumption Cathedral.

You can fly from Almaty to Nur-Sultan in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Almaty in July, with highs in Nur-Sultan at °C and lows at °C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Borovoe.

Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) to allow time to travel to Esik.
