Expect a bit warmer temperatures when traveling from Kathmandu in April; daily highs in Sauraha reach 40°C and lows reach 23°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Pokhara.

Pokhara, the second largest city in the country, attracts visitors with its superlative natural wonders and easygoing atmosphere.

Getting from Sauraha to Pokhara by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of bus and flight; or take a bus. Traveling from Sauraha in April, expect Pokhara to be slightly colder, temps between 34°C and 19°C. On the 18th (Thu), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Kathmandu.
