Kick off your visit on the 19th (Fri): see the interesting displays at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, then don't miss a visit to Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, then explore the world behind art at Hiroshima Museum of Art, and finally step into the grandiose world of Hiroshima Castle. Here are some ideas for day two: step off the mainland to explore Miyajima and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Itsukushima Shrine.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Hiroshima is an approximately 17-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. Start off your visit on the 21st (Sun): explore the historical opulence of Nijo Castle, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, then take an in-depth tour of Kyoto Museum of Traditional Crafts Fureaikan, and finally contemplate the long history of Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine. On the next day, contemplate the long history of Heian Shrine, take a stroll through Gion, and then steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple.

Take a train from Hiroshima to Kyoto in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 22°C in April, and nighttime lows around 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Mon) early enough to travel to Tokyo.

Start off your visit on the 23rd (Tue): examine the collection at Edo-Tokyo Museum, take in the spiritual surroundings of Senso-ji Temple, then admire the masterpieces at Tokyo National Museum, and finally admire the natural beauty at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Here are some ideas for day two: get a sense of history and politics at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings and then wander the streets of Odaiba.
