Jakarta is known for shopping, historic sites, and theme parks. The capital of West Java, Bandung offers a blend of leisure activities, entertainment, and sightseeing.
Venture out of the city with trips to Lembang (Rainbow Garden, Floating Market Lembang, &more). There's much more to do: take a stroll through Braga Street, see the interesting displays at Upside Down World Bandung, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Lembah Karmel OCD, and revel in the low prices at Rumah Mode Factory Outlet.

You can drive from Jakarta to Bandung in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or take a bus. Expect a bit cooler temperatures when traveling from Jakarta in June; daily highs in Bandung reach 32°C and lows reach 23°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Fri) to allow enough time to fly to Semarang.

Semarang

An Indonesian port city, Semarang remains best known for its Dutch colonial architecture and 15th-century temple.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Fri): stop by Semarang Rainbow Village, then appreciate the history behind Sam Po Kong Temple, then admire the landmark architecture of Lawang Sewu Building, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Baiturrahman Great Mosque. Keep things going the next day: admire the striking features of Central Java Grand Mosque, then see the interesting displays at Old City 3D Trick Art Museum, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Gereja Santa Perawan Maria Ratu Rosario Suci Randusari - Katedral.
