Kick off your visit on the 21st (Sun): appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza Navona and then admire the masterpieces at Galleria Borghese. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Colosseum, delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill, then contemplate the long history of Roman Forum, then admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon.

Frankfurt, Germany to Rome is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive. Traveling from Frankfurt in July, things will get a bit warmer in Rome: highs are around 37°C and lows about 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Mon) early enough to travel to Ravello.
