Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital, effortlessly combines small-town charm with heaps of big city energy.Venture out of the city with trips to Grindavik (Brimketill & Thermal Spas) and Thingvellir National Park (in Thingvellir). Spend the 29th (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Iceland's southernmost village, Vik, sports some of the country's wildest and most dramatic coastline.On the 1st (Fri), listen to music at Icelandic Lava Show, kick back and relax at Black Sand Beach, then take in the dramatic scenery at Skogafoss, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Reyniskyrka Church.
