Start off your visit on the 9th (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Tornio Church, tee off at Tornio Golf, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Kukkolankoski, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kemi Church, and finally head off the coast to Perameren Kansallispuisto.

You can fly from Helsinki to Kemi in 4.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or drive. When traveling from Helsinki in August, plan for a bit cooler days and about the same nights in Kemi: temperatures range from 20°C by day to 11°C at night. On the 10th (Mon), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
