Capital of Peace

Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Lake Geneva and Cathedrale de Saint-Pierre. Explore Geneva's surroundings by going to Montreux (Montreux Lakeside & Freddie Mercury Statue), Creux du Van (in Gorgier) and Swiss Vapeur Parc (in Le Bouveret). And it doesn't end there: explore the historical opulence of Chateau de Chillon, see the interesting displays at The Olympic Museum Lausanne (Musee Olympique), enjoy the sand and surf at Bains des Paquis, and admire the local landmark of The Geneva Water Fountain.

To find other places to visit, maps, more things to do, and tourist information, refer to the Geneva trip planner.
