The capital and largest city of Serbia, cosmopolitan Belgrade sits on the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers.On the 4th (Sun), take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Sava Temple (Hram Svetog Save), take a stroll through Knez Mihailova, and then contemplate the long history of Kalemegdan.

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.Start off your visit on the 5th (Mon): wander the streets of Vaci Street, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), then contemplate the long history of Dohány Street Synagogue, then admire the landmark architecture of Matthias Church, and finally make a trip to Halaszbastya.
