Gorlitz

Görlitz is a town in the German federal state of Saxony. On the 30th (Mon), take some stellar pictures from Der Turm am Schweren Berg, then head outdoors with Ostdeutscher Rosengarten Forst (Lausitz), then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Affen-Zoo Jocksdorf, and finally take in the views from Rakotzbrucke. On the 1st (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a trip to Biblisches Haus, see the interesting displays at Kulturhistorisches Museum, steep yourself in history at Waidhaus, then browse the collection at Oberlausitzische Bibliothek der Wissenschaften, and finally contemplate the long history of Ochsenbastei.
