Bournemouth is a large coastal resort town on the south coast of England directly to the east of the Jurassic Coast, a 155km World Heritage Site. Attractions like Bournemouth Beach and Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting Bournemouth side-trips: Insight Activities Dorset (in Tolpuddle) and Weymouth (Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park, Weymouth Harbour, &more). There's lots more to do: observe the fascinating underwater world at Oceanarium, kick back and relax at Sandbanks Beach, and take in the waterfront at Bournemouth Pier.
