Ilfracombe is a seaside resort and civil parish on the North Devon coast, England, with a small harbour surrounded by cliffs.The parish stretches along the coast from the 'Coastguard Cottages' in Hele Bay toward the east and 4 miles along the Torrs to Lee Bay toward the west. Bring the kids along to Woolacombe Beach and Tunnels Beaches. Take a break from Ilfracombe with a short trip to The Big Sheep. in Bideford, about 40 minutes away. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Barricane Beach, explore the historical opulence of Watermouth Family Theme Park & Castle, tour the pleasant surroundings at Exmoor Zoo, and appreciate the history behind Verity Statue By Damien Hurst.
