Cuba's capital and major commercial center, Havana manages to be very old and very modern at the same time.
On the 5th (Sun), surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour, examine the collection at Church and Convent of St. Francis of Asisi, and then walk around Central Park. On the 6th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: wander the streets of Vedado, see the interesting displays at Taquechel Pharmacy Museum, then steep yourself in history at Castillo de la Real Fuerza, and finally steep yourself in history at Palacio De Los Capitanes Generales.

Built on sugar and seemingly preserved in molasses, the town of Trinidad attracts visitors with its well-aged 19th century architecture and rustic charm, showcasing the sounds, scents, and sights of days gone by.
On the 7th (Tue), examine the collection at Colonial Architecture Museum, examine the collection at Museo de Historia Municipal, examine the collection at Colonial Architecture Museum, then admire the sheer force of Salto del Caburni, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Topes de Collantes. On the next day, take in the spiritual surroundings of Convento de San Francisco de Asis, then admire the sheer force of Parque el Cubano, and then make a trip to Trinidad de Cuba.

You can drive from Havana to Trinidad in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a shuttle; or take a bus. In July in Trinidad, expect temperatures between 39°C during the day and 28°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) so you can go by car to Varadero.

One of the largest resort towns in the Caribbean, Varadero boasts a 20 km (12 mi) long stretch of sand, lined with hotels and all-inclusive resorts.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Thu): admire the masterpieces at Mi Casa Beatles, kick back and relax at Coral Beach - Playa Coral, and then explore the fascinating underground world of Cuevas de Bellamar. Here are some ideas for day two: delve into the distant past at Cueva de Ambrosio, play a few rounds at Varadero Golf Club, then see the interesting displays at Pharmaceutical Museum, and finally pause for some photo ops at Crab Monument.
