More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Columbus: Rockbridge (Hocking Hills Market & Zipline), Cincinnati (Spring Grove Cemetery & Arboretum & JACK Cincinnati Casino) and Dayton (National Aviation Hall of Fame, National Museum of the US Air Force, &more). On the 29th (Sat), immerse yourself in nature at Raven Rock State Park, then examine the collection at Ava Gardner Museum, and then take a peaceful walk through Clemmons Educational State Forest.
