Jyvaskyla

Jyväskylä is a city and municipality in Finland and in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. Venture out of the city with trips to Korpilahti (Oravivuori Triangulation Tower & Hoyry Galleria), Jamsa (Vitikkala Manor & Himos Ski Resort) and Petajavesi Old Church (in Petajavesi). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at The Alvar Aalto Museum, whizz through the canopy at Laajis, get a new perspective on things with Lake Paijanne Cruises, and stroll around Maki-Matin perhepuisto.

For ratings, other places to visit, where to stay, and tourist information, read our Jyvaskyla trip itinerary planner.
