With a long history of producing regional wines since the Romans brought grapevines here during the first century, so many people consider Bordeaux to be the wine capital of the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Place de la Bourse and CAPC Musee d'Art Contemporain. Your inner history buff will appreciate St. Andre Cathedral and Cathedrale Sainte-Marie de Bayonne.
