Alcudia

— 7 nights
Alcúdia is a municipality and township of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Cuevas del Drach and Teatre Ròma are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Castell de Capdepera and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Alcudia: Arta (Sanctuary of Sant Salvador & Ermita de Betlem), Faro de Capdepera (in Capdepera) and Cala Anguila (in Manacor). There's lots more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa de Alcudia, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa de Muro, trek along Son Marroig, and don't miss a visit to Porta del Moll.

For reviews, other places to visit, and other tourist information, refer to the Alcudia attractions planning site.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Palma De Mallorca Airport, Barcelona International Airport and Menorca Airport. In September, plan for daily highs up to 32°C, and evening lows to 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
