Bridlington is a coastal town and civil parish on the Holderness Coast of the North Sea, situated in the unitary authority and ceremonial county of the East Riding of Yorkshire approximately north of Hull. On the 6th (Sat), identify plant and animal life at RSPB Bempton Cliffs and then enjoy the sand and surf at Selwicks Bay Beach. Keep things going the next day: kick back and relax at Scarborough Beach, explore the activities along Peasholm Park, and then get outside with Scarborough Footgolf.

Situated on the confluence of the rivers Ouse and Foss, York has witnessed an abundance of major political events throughout its two millennia of existence.
Step out of the city life by going to York Bird of Prey Centre and Yearsley Pool. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at York City Walls and National Railway Museum. Take a break from York with a short trip to National Centre for Birds of Prey in Helmsley, about 50 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at York Minster, look for all kinds of wild species at Askham Bog Nature Reserve, see the interesting displays at Jorvik Viking Centre, and get all the equipment you need at York Canoe Hire.
