Get out of town with these interesting Yerevan side-trips: Charent's Arch (in Garni), Amberd Fortress (in Byurakan) and Hayravank Monastery (in Hayravank). There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Yerevan Botanical Garden, take in the spiritual surroundings of The Monastery of Geghard, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Caucasus Mountains, and browse the different shops at Dalma Garden Mall.
