A small resort town located in Georgia's "Historic High Country," Blue Ridge sits right on the national scenic trail that follows the Appalachian mountain range for over 3,300 km (2,100 mi).
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Sun): kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, then try for a hole-in-one at The Lilly Pad Village, and then let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour. On your second day here, take in the dramatic scenery at Helton Creek Falls, then admire the majestic nature at Vogel State Park, and then trot along with a tour on horseback.
