Start off your visit on the 5th (Sun): admire the natural beauty at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, steep yourself in history at Cascades Female Factory Historic Site, let the kids burn off some steam at St. David's Park, thentake your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Wellington, and finally explore the world behind art at Lady Franklin Gallery.

Perth to Hobart is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train, ferry, and bus. You'll lose 2 hours traveling from Perth to Hobart due to the time zone difference.
