Schladming is a small former mining town in the northwest of the Austrian state of Styria that is now a popular tourist destination. On the 12th (Wed), get in on the family fun at Abenteuerpark Planai, get outside with Erlebnis Rittisberg, then head outdoors with Ski Reiteralm, and finally explore the activities along Duisitzkarsee.

You can drive from Graz to Schladming in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Eisenerz.

Eisenerz

Eisenerz is a market place and old mining town in the Austrian state of Styria, 68mi. Start off your visit on the 13th (Thu): head outdoors with Gruener See, then pause for some serene contemplation at Kirchenburg St. Oswald, then head outdoors with Leopoldsteinersee, and finally fly down the slopes at Skiarena Praebichl. On your second day here, go deep underground at Abenteuer Erzberg, take in the dramatic scenery at Wasserlochklamm, and then don't miss a visit to Bergsteigerfriedhof Johnsbach.
