Green Pearl of Adriatic

One of northern Italy's most popular seaside resorts, Riccione is known as the Green Pearl of the Adriatic for its tree-lined streets and numerous gardens.
Get out of town with these interesting Riccione side-trips: Grotte di Frasassi (in Genga), Azienda Agraria Guerrieri (in Piagge) and Santuario Della Santa Casa (in Loreto). Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 25th (Wed) at Aquafan. There's still lots to do: get to know the resident critters at Oltremare, explore the historical opulence of Castello di Gradara, enjoy the sand and surf at Marano Beach 135-136, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Il Teatro dell'Aria.

To find where to stay, other places to visit, ratings, and other tourist information, read our Riccione attractions planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Federico Fellini International Airport, Marche Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. In August, daytime highs in Riccione are 84°F, while nighttime lows are 68°F.
