A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.

For shopping fun, head to La Grande Epicerie de Paris Rive Gauche or Berthillon. Get some historical perspective at Arc de Triomphe and Île de la Cité. Venture out of the city with trips to Chateau de Chantilly (in Chantilly City) and Palace of Versailles (in Versailles). There's still lots to do: make a trip to Louvre Museum, stop by Fromagerie Quatrehomme, get lost in a book at Shakespeare and Company Bookstore, and admire the masterpieces at Musee d'Orsay.
