The site of some of the most important political and military events in Colombian history, Cucuta lies on the border with Venezuela and represents a regional hub of tourism, commerce, and productivity.
On the 15th (Thu), buy something for everyone on your list at Ventura Plaza and then make a trip to Malecon. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral de Cucuta and then don't miss a visit to Plaza Parque Santander.
