Pokhara, the second largest city in the country, attracts visitors with its superlative natural wonders and easygoing atmosphere.
Poon Hill has been added to your itinerary. On the 30th (Fri), admire the sheer force of Devi's Fall, then contemplate the waterfront views at Phewa Tal (Fewa Lake), and then take in the awesome beauty at Poon Hill.

Kathmandu to Pokhara is an approximately 3-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Kathmandu in March, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Pokhara, with lows around 16°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Sat) early enough to travel to Kathmandu.

Expect a bit cooler evenings in Kathmandu when traveling from Pokhara in March, with lows around 11°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Tue) early enough to catch the flight to Khumbu.

Khumbu

Khumbu remains best known as the region that contains the world's tallest peak, Mount Everest.
Step out of the city life by going to Mt Everest and Khumbu Glacier. Get out of town with these interesting Khumbu side-trips: Memorial to Scott Fischer (in Khumjung) and Sagarmatha National Park (Mt. Ama Dablam, Everest View Point, &more). The adventure continues: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Taboche and take in the spiritual surroundings of Tengboche Gompa.
