Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Head to Via Condotti and I Colori di Dentro di Maria Grazia Luffarellifor plenty of shopping. Take a break from the city and head to Catacombe di San Callisto and Colle del Gianicolo. There's much more to do: make a trip to St. Peter's Basilica, delve into the distant past at Pantheon, appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza Navona, and steep yourself in history at Roman Forum.

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major airports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport and Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport. In November, daily temperatures in Rome can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) so you can catch the train to Verona.
