In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Fri): admire the landmark architecture of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Milano, and then admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo del Touring Club Italiano.

On the 5th (Sat), pause for some serene contemplation at Santa Maria in Trastevere. On the 6th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the masterpieces at Galleria Borghese, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica, then delve into the distant past at Pantheon, and finally admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain.
