A World Heritage Site, the desert city of Jaisalmer has a number of historical attractions, buildings, and legends worthy of protection.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Wed): steep yourself in history at Kuldhara Abandoned Village, then learn about all things military at Jaisalmer War Museum, and then stop by Desert Art Gallery. On the 3rd (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jain Temples and then see Off-Road Tours.

Traveling by flight from Goa to Jaisalmer takes 7 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of taxi and train. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Thu) so you can travel to Udaipur.
