Sitting at the point where three mountain rivers meet, the hill station of Munnar has become known as a tea-growing center in the south of the country.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Sun): see human ingenuity at work at Mattupetty Dam, then get great views at Munnar Hill Station, then examine the collection at Tea Museum, and finally stop by Tata Tea Outlet. On your second day here, take in nature's colorful creations at Rose Gardens, then experience rural life at Lockhart Tea Museum, then take in nature's colorful creations at Tea Gardens, and finally admire the sheer force of Chinnakanel Water Falls.

On the 10th (Tue), explore the striking landscape at Silathoranam, contemplate the long history of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vaari Temple, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sri Varadaraja Swamy Temple.
