Reykjavik, the world's most northerly capital, effortlessly combines small-town charm with heaps of big city energy.
Explore Reykjavik's surroundings by going to Thermal Spas (in Grindavik), Thingvellir (Thingvellir National Park & Galgaklettur) and Svartsengi Geothermal Power Plant (in Svartsengi). Spend the 1st (Mon) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's much more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Hallgrimskirkja, pause for some photo ops at Sun Voyager, see the interesting displays at Aurora Reykjavik, and see Off-Road Tours.
