Mérida is the capital of the autonomous community of Extremadura, western central Spain. Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sat): admire the masterpieces at Palace de los Golfines de Abajo, then get curious at Museo de Historia de la Computacion, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Old Town of Caceres, and finally don't miss a visit to Plaza Mayor de Trujillo. On the 19th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: delve into the distant past at Castillo de Trujillo (Trujillo Castle), get engrossed in the history at Museo Nacional de Arte Romano, then make a trip to Templo de Diana, and finally take in the views from Roman Bridge.
