Traveling by combination of flight, ferry, and bus from Quito to Puerto Ayora takes 5 hours. Traveling from Quito in December, expect Puerto Ayora to be a bit warmer, temps between 32°C and 26°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 19th (Thu) so you can travel to Guayaquil.

Traveling from Puerto Ayora in December, expect nights in Guayaquil to be about the same, around 27°C, while days are somewhat warmer, around 38°C.
