7 days in Central Finland Itinerary

Jyväskylä is a city and municipality in Finland and in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. Venture out of the city with trips to Old Church of Keuruu (in Keuruu), Vitikkala Manor (in Jamsa) and Petajavesi Old Church (in Petajavesi). Kuopio to Jyvaskyla is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Kuopio in June, Jyvaskyla is little chillier at night with lows of 8°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) to allow time to travel to Karstula.

Karstula is a municipality of Finland founded in 1867. On the 18th (Fri), explore the striking landscape of Pyha-Hakki National Park. On the 19th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the pleasant sights at Julmat Lammit, then enjoy breathtaking views from Kirkkovuori Nature Observation Tower, and then see the interesting displays at Car Museum Wanhat Wehkeet.
