Situated along the Adriatic Sea, Zadar preserves a medieval old town that is entirely contained on a peninsula.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Tue): add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, don't miss a visit to Paseo Maritimo, and then make a trip to Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje). Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Church of St. Donat, then make a trip to The Forum, then don't miss a visit to Zadar Land City Gates, and finally get some thrills on the water with a speed boat tour.

Drive from Brno to Zadar in 8 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train, flight, and bus; or do a combination of train, shuttle, and flight. When traveling from Brno in July, plan for a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Zadar: temperatures range from 36°C by day to 20°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Wed) so you can go by car to Makarska.

Makarska is a small city on the Adriatic coastline of Croatia, about 60km southeast of Split and 140km northwest of Dubrovnik. Start off your visit on the 1st (Thu): explore the activities along Omis and Cetina River, then stroll through Punta Rata Beach, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sveti Marko. On the 2nd (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take an in-depth tour of Muzej Riba i Rakova, get great views at Biokovo, then kick back and relax at Drasnice, and finally stroll through Tucepi Beach.
