Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.
Venture out of the city with trips to Petit Jean State Park (in Morrilton) and Little Rock (William J. Clinton Presidential Library & Testament: The Little Rock Nine Monument). There's still lots to do: get outside with Outdoor Activities, take in nature's colorful creations at Garvan Woodland Gardens, appreciate the extensive heritage of Bathhouse Row, and enjoy breathtaking views from Hot Springs Mountain Tower.
