Holyhead is the largest town in the county of Isle of Anglesey in Wales. Get out of town with these interesting Holyhead side-trips: Dwyran (Anglesey Riding Centre & Newborough Beach), Foel Farm Park (in Brynsiencyn) and Newborough Warren & Ynys Llanddwyn (in Newborough). And it doesn't end there: enjoy the sea views from South Stack Lighthouse, enjoy the sand and surf at Benllech Beach, identify plant and animal life at South Stack Cliffs RSPB Reserve, and bet on your favorite at Anglesey Circuit - Trac Mon.

For ratings, photos, maps, and other tourist information, refer to the Holyhead trip builder site .

London to Holyhead is an approximately 4-hour train ride. You can also drive; or do a combination of flight and train. When traveling from London in July, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in Holyhead: temperatures range from 21°C by day to 15°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Fri) to allow time to take a train back home.
