Port of Spain, the country's capital, sits between the sea and a scenic green mountain range, and acts as a gateway for eclectic adventures on land and sea.
Bring the kids along to Maracas Bay and Yerette. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Port of Spain: San Fernando (San Fernando Hill, Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, & more), Tyrico Bay (in Maracas Bay) and Chaguaramas (Macqueripe Beach & Macqueripe Bay). Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 5th (Sun) at Harry's Water Park. Spend the 9th (Thu) exploring nature at Caroni Lagoon National Park.
