The provincial city in the county of the same name, Chiayi sits as the gateway to the national scenic mountain area of Alishan.

Jincheng Township is an urban township on the southwestern corner of the island of Kinmen (Quemoy). Jincheng is known for historic sites, museums, and nature. Nestled between the sea and the mountains, Hualien boasts a number of attractions, both natural and manmade.
