Seoul

— 59 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Take a break from the city and head to Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bukhansan National Park. Head to Myeongdong Shopping Street and Gyeongdong Marketfor plenty of shopping. Change things up with these side-trips from Seoul: Paju (Lotte Premium Outlets Paju Branch, DMZ Haemaru Village, &more), Munsusan Forest Bath (in Gimpo) and Incheon (Goryeogung Palace Site, Ganghwasanseong Fortress, &more). And it doesn't end there: stop by Bukchon Hanok Village, get a taste of the local shopping with Namdaemun Market, wander the streets of Insadong, and head off the coast to Nami Island.

To see where to stay, reviews, and more tourist information, refer to the Seoul trip itinerary site.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. In July, plan for daily highs up to 34°C, and evening lows to 27°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Mon) to allow time to travel back home.
