Seattle

— 59 nights

Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Escape the urban bustle at Hurricane Ridge and Snoqualmie Falls. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Bruce Lee Grave Site and Alki Point Lighthouse. Venture out of the city with trips to Mount Vernon (Roozengaarde Display Garden & Tulip Town), Coupeville (Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve & Fort Casey State Park) and Anacortes (Tommy Thompson Trail, Dolphin & Whale Watching, &more). Dedicate the 20th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. Spend the 22nd (Sat) wandering through the wild on Discover Nature. There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Seattle Art Museum, identify plant and animal life at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park, see the interesting displays at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center, and take in the exciting artwork at Chihuly Garden and Glass.

In April, daily temperatures in Seattle can reach 61°F, while at night they dip to 46°F.
