Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Transfagarasan Highway and Old Town. Explore Sibiu's surroundings by going to Castelul Corvinilor (in Hunedoara), Biserica Sfanta Treime (in Sibiel) and Alba Iulia (Catedrala Reintregirii Neamului & Citadel of Alba Iulia). And it doesn't end there: make a trip to Sighisoara Clock Tower, take in the architecture and atmosphere at The Fortified Church of Biertan, snap pictures at Scara Acoperita-Covered Stairway, and steep yourself in history at Turnul Sfatului (The Tower of the Council).
