Valencia

— 34 nights

City of Mediterranean Light

A charming old city originally founded as a Roman colony, Valencia is the country’s third-largest urban center.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Casco Antiguo and El Museo Nacional de Ceramica y de las Artes Suntuarias Gonzalez Marti. Step out of the city life by going to Nature & Wildlife Tours and Port Saplaya. Change things up with these side-trips from Valencia: Playa de Xeraco (in Xeraco), Gandia (Escuelas Pias, Palau Ducal dels Borja Gandia, &more) and Sagunto (Playa de Corinto-Malvarrosa, L'Epicentre, &more). There's still lots to do: awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area, let little ones run wild at Gulliver Park, take in the local highlights with Walking tours, and don't miss a visit to Plaza de la Reina.

To find maps, more things to do, and tourist information, read Valencia trip itinerary website.

You can drive from Ontinyent to Valencia in 1.5 hours. In November, plan for daily highs up to 23°C, and evening lows to 9°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Wed) so you can catch the flight back home.
